Inconel 825 from SPM
If you want an alloy that is going to stand the test of time as well as be suitable for a number of different uses then Incoloy is the choice for you. As alloys go it is one of the most resistant because of the materials that it is made up of which means that it can be used for any number of reasons.
The alloy itself is made up of a number of materials but is mainly a nickel-iron-chromium alloy although other additions include copper, titanium and molybdenum. These together mean that the alloy is not easily corroded in different environments meaning that if you invest in this alloy you get fantastic value for money. As the nickel in this allow is blended with copper and molybdenum it helps it to be resistant even to environments that include sulfuric and/or phosphoric acids.
On top of this the fact that it contains chromium means that it can withstand environments that have nitric acid and/or oxidizing salts present.
All of these elements put together help to make Inconel 825 the must have alloy for many products and it certainly is a worth while investment for many people.
